 血の日曜日

　今から50年前の1月30日、今日と同じ日曜日、北アイルランドで大きな流血事件がおきました。

　北アイルランドのデリー（Derry）で公民権運動のデモ行進を行っていた市民を英国軍が何の警告もなしに襲撃しました。この暴挙で14名が殺されたのです。

　この事件については以前、ここに少し書きました。

　2010年、デーヴィッド・キャメロン首相が、この事件は英国軍に非があったとして、英国政府として初めて謝罪しました。

　しかし、事件の全容が完全に明らかになったわけではありません。

　また、英国軍からの謝罪は行われていません。

　英国軍で罪に問われた人は誰もいません。

　改めて、この事件で亡くなった人を弔いたいと思います。

Sanga Dimanĉo

  Antaŭ 50 jaroj, la 30-an de januaro, dimanĉon, okazis granda sangoverŝado en Norda Irlando.

  Britaj soldatoj atakis civitanrajtajn manifestaciantojn marŝantajn en Derry, Norda Irlando, sen averto. 14 homoj estis mortigitaj en tiu ĉi kruela afero.

  En 2010, Ĉefministro David Cameron pardonpetis por la unua fojo kiel la brita registaro, dirante ke la okazaĵo estis kaŭzita de la Brita Armeo.

  Tamen, la tuta bildo de la kazo ne estis tute klarigita.

  Krome, neniu pardonpeto estis farita de la Brita Armeo.

  Neniu en la Brita Armeo estis akuzita pri krimo.

  Mi ŝatus funebri denove la personon kiu mortis en tiu ĉi masakro.

Bloody Sunday

  Fifty years ago, on 30 January , Sunday, there was a big bloodshed in Northern Ireland.

  British troops attacked civil rights protesters marching in Derry, Northern Ireland, without warning. 14 people were killed in this cruel act.

  In 2010, Prime Minister David Cameron apologized for the first time as the British government, saying that the incident was caused by the British military.

  However, the whole picture of the case has not been completely clarified.

  Besides, no apology has been made by the British Army.

  No one in the British Army has been charged with a crime.

 I should like to mourn the person who died in this massacre again.
